Forming intergenerational bonds is key to enriching our patients’ wellbeing – that’s why children are always welcome at Briarwood.
The interaction between residents and youngsters creates incredible positive spirits for both. Visiting students from local schools are a common occurrence and we encourage our staff to bring their children to work. Residents enjoy regular outings to area attractions such as the Boston Aquarium, Natasket Beach and Castle Island.
Whether it is engaging in conversation, creating a craft, reading a book, or playing a game – relationships are formed and sustained, and the experience yields lasting results.
