Dr. Roger Schutt, MD

Primary Medical Director

Dr. Roger Schutt is a Board Certified Family Practitioner as well as in Geriatrics and Hospice and Palliative Care. He specializes in the care of patients in subacute and long term care facilities . He works for the Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare System and serves as the Medcial Director for their Extended Care Community Program serving patients in assisted livings, rehab facilities and long term care facilties across greater Boston.

He is affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Boston as well as BID-Milton and BID-Needham. He received his medical degree from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He is one of 61 doctors at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton and one of 606 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center who specialize in Internal/Family Medicine.​

After graduating from Brandeis University, Dr. Glaser earned his medical doctorate at the Boston University School of Medicine in 1994. At the renowned Lahey Hitchcock Clinic, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine, and has been a dedicated attending physician since 1997. An acute listener and a brilliant diagnostician, Dr. Glaser has labored for over a decade to build his reputation to what it is today: a world-class physician. His prominence has influenced facilities like The Beaumont Rehabilitation Center, Wingate at Sudbury, and The Timothy Daniels House to appoint Dr. Glaser as their current Medical Director. He is also affiliated with The Geriatric Authority of Milford, The Stone Institute, and Avery Manor. Additionally, he is an associate clinical professor at Tufts University. A firm believer in preventative medicine, Dr. Glaser commits his undivided and focused attention to every one of his patients to determine the optimal course in preventing disease and injury, rather than simply treating their symptoms. Because he understands that it is sometimes difficult to balance your health with work and other engagements, Dr. Glaser makes an effort to accommodate his clientele by seeing his first patient at 6:00 AM every day.

Alzheimer’s Program Medical Director

Dr. Verma is presently the Director of Geriatric Psychiatry Education and Fellowship Program at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA. He has also held the position of the Psychiatrist in Charge of the Special Care Geriatric Unit at McLean Hospital between 1994 and 2002. His specialty and certification is in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, with added qualifications in Geriatric Psychiatry. In 1987, Dr. Verma received the Roeske Certificate of Excellence from the American Psychiatric Association. In 2000, he was awarded by “Psychiatric Times,” as “Teacher of the Year.” Between the years 1971 and the present, Dr. Verma has made over 1000 presentations nationally and abroad in a variety of settings and to different audiences involved in the care of the aging population. He served as Principal Investigator on a variety of clinical and research trials, and has been on a number of national and state committees and editorial boards. Dr. Verma is co-author and co-editor of the book, Depression in Later Life, published by Marcel Dekker in 2003.

Dr. Fuller has been a Primary Care Physician in the Cambridge area for over 30 years. In addition to his work in geriatric and rehabilitation medicine at Briarwood Healthcare, he remains active in primary care offices for Mount Auburn Hospital. He attended Dartmouth & Brown Medical Schools, receiving his Medical Degree in 1977.

Dr. Ostrow was the Medical Director for Pulmonary Medicine for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham for 32 years, where he also served as the Founder and Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Center and Laboratory for 13 years. A native of New York City, Dr. Ostrow received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from the National University of Mexico, Mexico City. For his post-graduate training, Dr. Ostrow completed his residency at Kings County Hospital/Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Boston Medical Center. He has served as Director of Medical Education for BIDH and President of their medical staff. Dr. Ostrow is currently affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham, and New England Baptist Hospital.

Dr. Agam A. Shah MD is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee, shoulder and sport related injuries. A respected member of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Shah’s specialized expertise includes ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) repair, total joint replacement, and non-surgical treatment of arthritis.Beyond his clinical and surgical commitments, Dr. Shah serves as Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts Medical Center, Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitative Medicine, and is a Staff Surgeon at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and MetroWest Medical Center.Dr. Shah is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
