Briarwood Rehabilitation: Proud Participants in The Longest Day

On June 20, 2016, Briarwood Rehabilitation’s team will be joining thousands of teams across the Nation, participating in an activity they love as they fundraise to honor someone facing the disease.

A team event to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Association®, The Longest Day is held annually on the summer solstice, from sunrise-to-sunset, symbolizing both the challenging journey of individuals living with the disease and to acknowledge their caregivers as well.

On The Longest Day, people can choose an activity they love, select the favorite activity of someone living with Alzheimer’s or lost to the disease, and also honor a caregiver by embracing his or her favorite hobby.

Join Team Briarwood and help us raise a minimum of $1,600 to further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
